After years of working in the theatre as a dancer, an actor, and a director Franck shifted into directing music videos before getting into film production. His feature writing and directorial debut was P2 produced by Alexandre Aja and Patrick Wachsberger. His second film, Wrong Turn at Tahoe, for Paramount Pictures, stared Harvey Keitel, Cuba Gooding Jr and the late Miguel Ferrer. Franck then wrote and directed Maniac staring Elijah Wood and Nora Arzeneder which was part of the official selection at the Cannes Film Festival in 2012. He collaborated on two movies with Blumhouse including Amityville The Awakening staring Jennifer Jason Leigh and Bella Thorne. Franck’s latest film is Night of the Hunted staring Camille Rowe, which he wrote, directed, and produced with Alix Taylor and Alexandre Aja for AMC+ Shudder. Franck has a documentary coming out soon called The Bolivian Skinner, about one of South America’s most charming, enigmatic, and brutal serial killers produced by Canal +. Franck has been an actor, an editor, a writer, and a director for 25 years and continues to develop movies, documentaries, and TV shows. You can explore some of those titles in the development page of this website. He credits his formative years in the theater, however, for his ability to work with a wide range of talented actors, from beginners to Academy Award winners.
